Weatherhead Women’s Leadership Luncheon
In commemoration of Women’s History Month

Join faculty, alumni, students, and friends to explore the impact of many generations in the
workforce today and the work still ahead for women today. All are welcome.

Connie Schultz is a Pulitzer Prize winning columnist and author of the New York Times
bestselling novel, The Daughters of Erietown. She is also currently Professor of Practice in
Journalism at Denison University. She writes a weekly essay for Substack entitled Hopefully
Yours. She is a public speaker on a wide range of issues, from journalism and politics to
women’s rights and social justice. She has received six honorary degrees and has served twice
as a Pulitzer Prize juror.

Parking/Transportation:
Paid parking is available at the Playhouse Square Parking Garage, 1450 Chester Avenue. Bring your ticket to the City Club to get validated. There is an RTA bus stop directly in front of the Club between E 13th and E 14th streets. Additionally free E-line and C-line trolleys are also convenient. Valet parking is available at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, located at 1260 Euclid Avenue. Mention the City Club and receive a reduced rate of $20.

Dress Code:
Professional attire suggested.

Meal options: Lunch options are selected upon registering for the event (you will be contacted for your lunch preference)

Registration is requested by March 13th.

We are excited to partner with Dress for Success Cleveland for this event. We are asking attendees to either bring an item to donate (current needs include tailored blouses, pantsuits, skirts, and shoes) or to donate to their "Your Hour, Her Power" Campaign. This campaign asks individuals to donate one hour of their pay so that Dress for Success can purchase items for industry-specific jobs such as scrubs, uniforms, etc.
